The speed does matter. If the IDE interface can't keep up, you'll end up
with trashed CDRs. BURNproof doesn't make it faster, it makes it more
reliable.

Actually, it does make it faster, since you burn at the maximum speed
your computer can handle at any moment, instead of selecting a slower,
safe speed like 4X.
